Professional Muay Thai Fighter & Brazilian Jiu jitsu Black Belt

Hatim Style is about technical martial arts instruction in a safe, healthy, and encouraging environment for students of all ages and abilities. As a coach, Said Hatim has for years successfully taught and coached everyone from children to world champions like Andrei Arlovski. A former professional kickboxer, undefeated MMA competitor, and current professional submission grappler with international and world championship fight experience, Said brings over 30 years of training and competition experience as well as a decade and a half of coaching to bear in his striking, submission grappling, MMA, and self-defense teaching. Hatim is a former Illinois State Kickboxing champion and world kickboxing title challenger, and a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt ranked by Ramiro Mota, a third-degree Professor who was the first American to ever be promoted to black belt by legendary Jiu-Jitsu world champion Rodrigo “Comprido” Medeiros. Hatim Style group and private classes are detailed, caring, and motivating. Said has a passion for helping people improve their lives with martial arts and fitness, and welcomes anyone interested in learning and growing to join his team!

Chali Syah

Professional Muay Thai Fighter + Extensive Training in Silat

Chali arrived in Chicago in 2013 from Hat Yai (Provincia de Songkhla) . Coach Chali has trained extensively in the Indonesian martial art Silat and Muay Thai. He has fight experience in Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. He has also trained Muay Thai fighters under the World Professional Muay Thai Federation (WPMF) for competition in Jakarta, Bali, Phuket and Bangkok. Chali strives to use his experiences to motivate and encourage Chicago natives to enjoy the art of muay thai kickboxing as a fun workout!
